Drayden had forgotten just what the Magicinian streets were like, especially for one of his kind. He had been working quietly within for several days, watching...remembering...listening. It seemed that this place was quiet. But the wizard knew that there was more to this equation than a richly decorated city. This had to come from some where.

So it was this train of thought that had guided him these past few days. He had to keep quiet and not draw attention to himself while inside the city. There was something here. What exactly he was not so sure. It seemed that the Flame was burning stronger here....why?

At the beginning of the third night, Drayden set out to get some answers that were troubling both his mind and soul. The wind had picked up this eve. The sunset was still glowing a dark red in the sky, casting strange colors all over the landscape.

As it turned out, Drayden didn't even know where to begin his work. However, it seemed fate guided him the right way...he had heard tales of the valuable jewels that came from here. Perhaps that had a connection to what he was seeking. Guiding his mount down a steep cliff, he carefully made his way into a ravine.

This place was definently used as a mining operation as one point. His keen eyes took in the area. The tracks, the mining cars and tools. It seemed to be a dry mine. With a final glance around him, Drayden drew Kua'thar, his blade. He leaned the curved blade on his shoulder and rode forward towards the mine entrance. Better to be ready...rather than careless.
