This poll is for anyone experiencing any technical issues with the boards, please vote the options that best describe any frequent problems you have, if any.
If you could respond with the specifics of the issue, I can work towards correcting/troubleshooting the problem.
If there are more than one of the above problems, vote the one that happens the most often, then post a response here with any others. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |

I just had a post error replying to this where it didn't save it, reset me and ended up on the main page. Have run into some odd errors here and there, but I beleive I have icq'd you those. The main issue I run into is login, it does not save it all the time even after clearing cookies etc. The slow loads are infrequent like the occasional crash. Niot sure why it happens unless it is something on the back end of a server....hope it helps.
To post this it reset me twice., then got this message,
"Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form. " _________________ "Knowledge is not information, it's transformation."

I've tested it on my end and I can't seem to replicate that issue, is anyone else getting the Invalid Session ID error?
As for the slowness/crashing/non responsive issues, I'll be making a post on the solution for those momentarily. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |

I've never gotten that particular message before. Sometimes I get a long load time, but it is infrequent. |

Everything has worked great for me. Sometimes when I write a long ic post right into the browser, and it takes me a long time it won't go through. Which is probably because I have the create a thread page open for too long but haven't had that problem in a long time. _________________

I get completely random uber long load times too, but generally I can just go back and load something else instantly. I figured it was either a problem with my PC, my connection, or some silly little technical issue that isn't anything easy to fix.
I voted animated sigs because animated images over a certain size apparently have a chance to crash my browser. That and the fact that they are, you know, banned |

I tell you when my problems happen. The animated sigs sometimes do slow me down, but that's just my connection issues. Though, the smilies are off and on now, with the one fix. I'm now determined to get them constantly rather than once a week! |

seriously, ive offered you a free secure internet connection, citywide WiFi is not real. get back to me.
i have no problems on the boards. i would vote to remove applications and databases rather than add them if people have problems with the boards.
but all i all, and despite your overwhelming desire to make life perfect
everything is peachy, life is good.
leave the boards...enter britannia _________________

I've talked to a friend who does coding for PHPBB, he said its usually a problem with a cookie being corrupt/invalid on your system. Do the following if you could, this should remove any cookies on your system and hopefully get rid of the invalid session error.
Clear Your Cache
Make sure your browser is closed if you are running ccleaner.
In Firefox:
Click "Tools" then "Clear Private Data"
In Internet Explorer:
Click "Tools" then "Internet Options" then "Delete" under the Browsing History subsection.
If this doesn't work, download CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds , install it, and run it. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |

Did you download and run ccleaner?
Sometimes clearing the browser cache through the browser doesn't work.
I tried the boards on several different computers and under different circumstances and couldn't replicate that problem, so I'm not sure whats causing it on your end if your cache is cleared. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |
