As the sun was rising over the trees in Minoc, the Warden of The North was ending his nightly patrol. As he approached the town, the first thing he noticed was that the barricades had taken considerable damage since he last left. It seemed that they were attacked quite hard last night.

Eldan moved to one of the northernmost gypsy tents to fetch his horse from the woman who watched it there and rode forth towards the main front. There were few on duty, but he quickly surmised after speaking with some of those present, that the Dark Order had hit them badly that night. He could see the over turned barrells, the blood drying on the ground. Many hoof shaped impacts on the ground showed that they had penetrated the defenses.

We won't be able to hold them much longer...

The Warden headed toward the bank. Which had been used as a command post since the fighting had began. Parking his horse outside, he dismounted and walked within the stone walled building, fetching a quill and parchment. There was much to send and little time....
