Standing in the Moonglow magery shop, Lee was amazed as she watched the alchemist at work. She was captivated by his skill. She had seen alchemists at work before, but this one was truly impressive! After careful measurements and perfect timing the work culminated in the cure, Fong’s cure. The alchemist was known as Caer. Lee was surprised he continued to help them after Mayor Triest had spoken to Caer so rudely, referring to him as an “it” rather than a “he.” Sure, the man wore a mask, but did his deep, manly voice not give his gender away? Of course, the mayor always acted this way towards those different from himself. The mayor irritated Lee.

Moonglow had sought the famous alchemist and had, luckily, found him. Vice Mayor Yolen Garth was a resourceful man. After the town meeting, Yolen had led Lee, Daz and Heph to a tavern in Umbra searching for him. Waiting on the mystery man to arrive Lee sat at the bar next to Daz. Daz ordered a drink for himself, enjoying a bit of down time. Lee did not partake. Good things did not come of her indulgences.

Anyway, they had the cure. All that was left was for Fong to regain consciousness just long enough to take it. Samon asked for one of the others to tell Rhiannon of the cure, to be certain she knew to alert Yolen the moment Fong came to. At the mention of this, Lee sighed – resigned. Why had that girl fallen so very fast for that man? A man she hardly knew? An older man? Lee shrugged to herself. Not my business…she reminded herself. It was with a chuckle the group elected Daz to go tell her. Lee figured she would trail closely behind and watch the encounter. One never knew what would become of an interaction between Daz and Rhiannon.
