Lee and Daz spent the afternoon settling into their new home. After much hard work it dawned on Lee to go check on Walt, her parrot. She had asked Rhiannon to bird-sit for a few days while Lee and Daz moved their things. Rhiannon had settled quickly into her new home, then again – she had very few things to settle. “Let’s go check on Walt.” Lee suggested to Daz. Daz scowled and Lee assured him that Rhiannon would not be there this time of day. Lee was almost certain Rhiannon was out practicing her spells. “Alright….” Daz agreed, reluctantly.

They stepped onto Rhiannon’s porch and looked around. There was Walt. He seemed content until he saw Lee. Oh, he started squalling! “I know, I know…I miss you too, buddy,” Lee whispered feeding him a cracker. As Lee fussed over Walt, Daz explored the new house. He smiled widely when he reached the roof top and saw what Rhiannon had installed – a hot tub!

“Lee!” Daz called downstairs. “You have to come up here!” Lee gasped at the sight of the hot tub and then started to laugh. “Wonder if it works?”Daz shrugged and walked over to the tub. He touched his finger in the water and smiled at its warmth. He looked to Lee and winked. Lee laughed and said, “Noooo….what if she comes back?”

“You said yourself she would be out all afternoon…,” Daz reminded her. Lee stood, smiling at Daz. “Oh, why not?!” Lee skipped over to Daz and they removed their clothes, laughing happily with one another. They hopped into the tub, enjoying the warmth and bubbles of the water.

The afternoon faded into evening and Lee snuggled in Daz’s arms, still in the hot tub. “Time to go,” she proclaimed. “We’ve been in here for two hours, and we’re all wrinkled.” Daz laughed, agreeing. Daz climbed out of the tub, turned around and offered a hand to Lee. At the most inopportune time, Rhiannon popped up to the top of the teleporter only to see Daz’s bare butt leaning over the hot tub. Lee was rising from the water as well. “What the…LEE!! DAZ!!” Rhiannon screamed and covered her eyes. "What are you two - ugh!" She turned and shot down the teleporter as fast as possible, still covering her eyes.

Daz and Lee looked to one another, their eyes met for a moment and their faces began to crack – the laughter lasted as they got dressed, as they bid Rhiannon an uncomfortable goodbye, and as they traveled through Moonglow to their new home.
