it had been many weeks aulbrey spent in the monastary and she began to feel that it was time to move on. she gathered her things and left without word to anyone. "the sooner i leave the better." she thought to herself.

the sun and barely began to rise as she headed west towards the mountains. she had hoped to find a quicker way of travel but most men who she passed reconized her and ran away in fear that she would propose to them. as they ran off she tossed rocks and cursed them as they quickly faded from sight.

two days had passed when finally she arrived in a small village. it was late in the day now and aulbrey was thirsty so she headed for the nearest tavern to quench her thirst.

finally sitting at the bar aulbrey began drinking like she had in the days past. "now that more like it" she told the barkeeper. "we've missed your patronage" the barkeep told her. she sat and turned around taking in the sounds of people coming and going, "it was good to be home" she thought to herself.

Turning to the corner and seeing a lamp it suddenly hit her. "DAMMIT I GOTTA GO" aulbrey shouted as she stood up in a hurry spilling most of her drink on the table. "i cant believe i forgot my child" aulbrey said as she smacked herself on the forehead.

again aulbrey found herself on the road headed east towards the monastary.
