In the matter of Lord Takumi Fujiwara vs. Lady Katsumi Fujiwara

This is a formal decree of divorce on the grounds of "when ill-treatment or gross insult as to make conjugal community unendurable as been received by the spouse." Lord Takumi Fujiwara With no ability to do so is requesting a dissolution of his marital union for the above said reason.

On the matter of Lord Takumi Fujiwara: Lord Fujiwara has requested no contact with Lady Fujiwara due to the said reason, with the exception of their children.

With the approval of Lord Takumi Fujiwara for the above reason(s) this divorce is now final and be made public knowledge and cannot be contested under any grounds, under any courts and lands under Regency jurisdiction. Signed: Lord Takumi Fujiwara

Rryn turned her head towards the door as it slid open to admit Lady Galadriel. She smiled as she rubbed her stomache and handed Rryn the morning posts and mail informing her that Lord Mikido had already left for the border of Isamu to verify the storm damage there. She then reached over and grabbed one of the sweetrolls on Rryn's tray with a grin joking she would return her one later from the kitchens.

As she left Rryn turned her attention to her mail and found a letter within it holding the Regency seal and addressed to Lady Katsumi. She found this strange that they would send her mail and carefully opened the letter. As she read the contents of the copy of the public filing of divorce within her eyes glazed over.

~*~*~in her mind she recalls the visions her mind carries of that fateful day when she arrived there~*~*~

Katsumi looked to the empty closet where her husband's clothes had once rested,tears sliding down her face,"momma..,"she heard her daughter call from the doorway of the bedroom,"is Poppa coming home?,"she asked as Katsumi shook her head,"no Hisa...he isn't...,"she said as she turned to look at the small child.
"Did I do something wrong?,"she asked as Katsumi shook her head again and moved to embrace her,"no of course you didn't..,"she said as she kissed the tiny cheeks of her daughter gently then stood up and took her hand softly,"come...lets go restore honor to our family...,"she said as Hisa nodded her head and walked with her mother down the hall.

Stepping into the dojo Katsumi's eyes fell on ~his~ sword,the sword given to him by the Royal family. Taking a deep breathe she led her daughter over to it then looked down to her,"you know what we must do..,"Katsumi asked Hisa as she nodded her head and picked up one of the daggers that lay beneath ~his~ sword. Smiling at her daughter gently she caressed her face then reached out, gripping the hilt of ornate sword she lifted it carefully from its stand then walked over to the palets.

"Come sit with me Hisa...,"Katsumi said as Hisa moved over to her and kneeled down infront of her mother,tears sliding down their faces as they stared at each other.

"Your father did love you Hisa...always remeber that...,"she said as Hisa nodded her head and watched as Katsumi place the tip of the sword at her heart,"this may not restore my heart but it will restore honor to our family...,"she said as Hisa lifted the dagger up and placed it at her heart. Reaching out Katsumi hugged her daughter close,plunging the blades into their chests. Katsumi's free hand clutching the sash ~he~ had worn during royal events now soaked in the blood of two broken hearts.

Her eyes brimmed with tears as they fell silently down her cheek recalling when they were found and her urgent rush to their side.
The subsequent funeral done privately and quietly.

As her blurred vision focused once more upon the paper her mind raced in turmoil with thoughts first of anger, then in saddness of the pain this had brought to her heart.

" Will the indignaties my friend has had to endure never cease?... even in death..."

She slowly placed her fingers at the top and bottom of the parchment and slowly ripped the paper in half then fourths.. continueing until it was soo much confetti to be tossed to the wind. She slowly rose from her bed moving painfully towards the window and her balcony, the many pieces in her closed fist. She leaned against the railing and opened her hands as the wind took the pieces and scattered them from her hand slowly.Taking a deep breathe she quietly spoke into the wind as the pieces flew around her..

"Even now you bring heartache to our people...this decree means nothing to a woman and child now dead to restore your honor..nor does it mean anything here."
