Okay, so...This is kinda wierd. Maybe it's a normal thing to ask, but I don't know, and I think it is strange.
I'm trying to get more involved in UO RP in general. Mind you, I have fun chatting with people, getting to know everyone and all that. But I feel like you guys have such a close knit community and I wanna try to be part of it. (If you'll have me, of course!) It seems like a lot of you know each other out of game, and that kinda gives you an advantage I don't have.
After talking to Davaran on a somewhat unrelated topic, he offered the idea that maybe I should try to build a family.
So...Anyone want to be my dad?
Or sister, I dunno.
Maybe this whole thing will backfire on me and, if it does, that's fine! Really! I don't know how everyone else built these crazy huge family trees. But, I'm stepping out and trying to build my own, dammit!
If anyone was planning on making an alt at any point, maybe put some thought into being a Delan? _________________ I have no idea what you are talking about.

I've just returned, and I've been finding more in-depth RP just by having a few details and quirks worked out for my character. I do most of my RP now with Moonglow, and I've never really even RPed with MTC in the past. Having a family or an idea of your character's lineage can help give a bit of depth to them. Zachary lived in the southern desert of Malas most of his life, Sosaria is unlike anything he's ever seen. But, because of how he was taught as a child, he also has a unique insight that he can bring to discussions. Also, just try talking to people. Zach doesn't turn away from discussion, he doesn't know the world well enough to do that yet :) |
