"Repairs should not be too extensive. The caretakers have done their best in keeping things fixed, your grace," the engineer reported.

Thrax smiled. "No more "your grace" Eric. Do whatever needs to be done. Make sure all is sound as well as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Spare no expense."

Eric nodded. "Should take little more than a week at most. I will hire extra workers today."

"See to it. Whatever you need." Thrax completed his tour of the grounds and the building, a slightly delapidated structure south-southwest of Yew, once known far and wide as the West Yew University.

It was Thrax's intention to repair the buildings and reconvene classes as soon as possible. He was in the process of drawing up a list of topics and teachers for the classes. Martial Arts was a high priority, but others were just as needed: Codes and Conduct, Application of the Virtues, and Sosarian Lore. Those, along with various vocational, technical and crafting subjects, would enable the common people to better fulfill their hopes and dreams, and serve a more useful place in Commonwealth society.

Too long had these venerable buildings lay empty and unused; the sounds of instruction had long ago died out. Now that would change. Education would be a high priority. The Commonwealth would be a great seat of learning once more; a shining star of knowledge and wisdom in which all Felucca could be proud of, as well as the envy of the rest of Sosaria.

As it should be.
