The morning was quiet as Ishtar picked at her breakfast of fruit and sweet bread. The chamomile tea was relaxing yet her mind was a still a bit troubled from the night before. Her eyes focused on the tarot cards on the table, in all her years with Thrax he never once asked her to read them for him, until last night. It still felt odd and was a bit unnerving.

The future she foretold also bothered her, especially with Thrax's "brother" making house calls. She didn't like the man, something about him felt off so to speak. She tolerated him only for Thrax. Maybe, she was being too suspicious, but the man always seemed like he had an ulterior motive. With a shrug, she finished her tea and stood. Too much to do, and not enough time to do it.

Papua was in need of a visit, her work there could not be overlooked as it prospered due to her diligence. She warned Thrax to be careful, as whatever may be coming to pass is close to home. Between the orcs and the latest politics, it could be anything. Now, was not he time to worry, but focus on what needed to be accomplished. She straightened her posture and then with a new resolve left Whitehall...
