The construction of the tower near Charnel Hill Cemetery seemed to have been taking forever. Resources were plentiful but the constant fear of a Guard from Umbra wandering to close was always in the minds of the builders and Vrae’il. The spot however perfect however, a small swamp containing a powerful shrine to the dark gods was an ideal spot for the Tower of the Lurid Arts.

The builders worked endlessly, gathering stone and metal to create a tower above the swamps so that the power of the shrine below could be used to help focus the dark spells that were to be created and cast within. The workers knew that the pay for this project was good, but the price for incompetence and laziness was a swift death.

The day had finally come, months had passed but the workers had finally finished the construction of the Tower of the Lurid Arts. Now the only thing left to be done was to gather supplies to stock the dark tower with.
