What was with this hunger of late? She was so thirsty so often. Normally, she took only when she felt great thirst, and hadn't fed in a few days. That was taxing enough. Now, she was thirsty quite often and she had lost control of herself when feeding on more than a few occasions. She wondered if anyone noticed how the Smith family was away on a very extended vacation.

Even now, she felt the desire to feed, and as she strolled down the road toward the brigand camp, the question circulated in her mind...

What is happening to me?
