I suggest we create a petition as the rp community and submit it to the powers that be that all resources in the game should stack. _________________ "He's been fired from the Shrimp Boat?" -- Charlaine Harris "Living Dead In Dallas." |

ugh, I didn't want to think when I just got back. That was brought up at the meeting. (yes, I specified granite, someone else seeds) basically they said they want to, but stacking older stuff is harder because of some programming language.
Now, off to crash. |

Hey but they make cool chairs. So I'd say no because petitions only let people know that there is something to gripe about. We should petition for horse barding instead because that would be way cooler. |

One of the things that was brought up this Saturday at townhall is that they are working on stacking issues. The devs, despite popular view, do have alot of their plate right now, and after meeting with them one on one and talking with them, I think they're going the right way. They are busy, and I don't think a petition, or a demand is the right way to go about it.
They're planning on it, and they'll get to it.....Eventually |

This really means... "Well the core program was written a decade and a half ago, none of the original programmers are around anymore. And everyone we have is either A) To stupid to figure out the original program OR B) Too god damn fracking lazy to do it. So... in an effort to make up for the fact we don't know how to do our job we'll give you all a new fancy item(without the new fancy graphic part, just an old graphic with a new color)." _________________

While some of that may be true,
I will say that they do have alot planned and are working on alot of things and this just hasnt taken precedence.
Also remember the company they work for is a business and puts money into working on things they think will bring them the most profit.
I.E> their programmers working on new content. I beleive they will get to it though they seemed pretty tired of hearing about it.
So keep pounding... _________________ Something is Wrong, I can still feel Existence... |

I don't buy it. I played WoW everyone knows WoWs record with fixing things and releasing new content. I would believe it if you said "UO isn't a priorty for EA anymore." Which i seriously believe. _________________

well, thanks for letting me see what everyone thought.
I just find it irritating that things don't stack. Some food does, and some food doesn't.
Ore does, and granite doesn't. _________________ "He's been fired from the Shrimp Boat?" -- Charlaine Harris "Living Dead In Dallas." |
