laying beside the grave aulbrey lay her arms across the small patch of dirt as if to hug it one last time. "why. why now" she asked herself as tears began to flood her eyes. the sun had gone behind a cloud and a small breeze began to pick up. off in the distance aulbrey could hear bells ringing. slowly standing up aulbrey gathered her things and looked down once more at the grave. shaking her head in disbelief she turned and walked away.
months later......
aulbrey no longer was tied to the order and once again was free to move about from to place. still in the back of her mind that fateful day was still haunting her memories, "could it be true" she ofted asked herself.
the incident had come unexpectedly and in ways it crippled her when she thought of it. returning to the burial site aulbrey knelt down and began to cry. "you meant so much to me, i do not know how i will survive without you" aulbrey muttered as tears rolled down her face.
as aulbrey gazed upon the gravestone she read the words upon it one last time.
