It was true her body was gone, a fiery inferno of flames as her mother lit the body afire at her sons request. Had she not been a Necromancer and used her skill with toys, she would in fact be dead right now.

Yet this was not written in the stars for Shade. So she was safely ensconced in her psuedo body. A small doll, being held in the hands of Barl, her teacher, which all in all was a good turn of events. Exactly how it should be.

Barl clever as he was, knew just who to call to release shade from the doll and set her body back to rights. Between Narcissa, the ghost of her father, and himself it was but a half nights work..

You may think I am making this sound easy but alas it is, easy, not all things are strenuous. To one as Barl reanimating undead is really but a bit of a work. To one as Narcissa, helping him do so is a fun evening. To one as Jon the Second, the originator of the doll spells.. It was not hard to channel himself into use.

For this Shade blessed her lucky stars...for she was lucky to have such around her. Without such she would have spent her eternity inside a doll....

As for Mimus no words can be spoken for her love for her companion and upon the breaking of the spell, the bonded one Mimus was destroyed. Prices have always been doled out for such things. IT was a price for Shade he was willing to pay. Yet his spirit was granted an ability to still roam these lands and spend his eternity with Shade.

And so as sad as his ultimate death in undeath was, the cawing of this spirit bird and his return to her shoulder brought happiness to all..

This is as close to a happy ending as it gets for this team...we shall revel in it...
