A Dark Clothed Messenger visits each Tavern and Guild House, accompanied by a Page wearing red and gold and bearing a drum. (Insert massive drum roll here).
Since the announcement early in August concerning the First Annual Festival of Minoc several dark things have slithered through our lives some were eaten raw, leaving a bit of blood on some fangs.
And, as much as we CAPS do love dark things, these we did not: i.e., several members of the High Council have been called away on important matters and our leader Lord Marius, the one with the glowing red eyes – had an accident while walking deep in the mines of Minoc and lost the ability to communicate with his clan. He has sharpened his fangs once again, is recovering nicely, and should be back with us shortly.
So -- it is with regret that our First Annual Festival of Minoc, with dancing girls, tournaments and contests of will and skill, lots of food and drink and (Massive drum roll) the classic entertainment of the Silent Poet (and yet another Drum Roll) is being postponed.
We are delighted with the response we received at the opening of our Tavern, and do hope for an enthusiastic turnout once we establish another date for the First Annual Festival of Minoc. Watch for announcements, please.... _________________ "Sic Gorgiamus Allos Subjectatos Nunc...
