Garrick and the original people of Stahlkrieger came from Germany, Earth. They were a people of a small kingdom in the northwest of Germany. Garrick, Gunter, Sven, Winter, Kathey, Ilse and Silke had set sail searching to expand their lands. A storm ensued and they were swept off course. They were lost what seemed months until they struck land in a strange new land. Ice Island, they settled here and began to build homes. They hunted for all of their food as the ground was not fertile enough to grow crops in the snowy dirt. Years of living in such a way Garrick gathered his staff and friends and stated that they needed to sail again to find a warmer climate. Heading south should work for the travelers. After some time at sea they had found a grouping of small islands between two port cities. They would settle there and build a new Kingdom. The Kingdom of Stahlkrieger-the kingdom of Steel Warriors. Marble island was chosen to be Garricks home and headquarters for his newly designed Empire.

Marble island, now called Insel Woden, was found to be very rich in both Marble and deep within the mines...Coal. Between these two resources and the grand fishing off of their coasts they could build a very prosperous trading community. Soon they would make trading relationships with other lands, favoring other island nations such as Moonglow.

While mining their rich island the miners found a strange chamber containing pottery, a hammer and other artifacts. Garrick claims that his scholars translations are true and that the Hammer is the Hammer of Thor and the pottery contains the Blood line of Odin himself. Being conceited as he is Garrick truely believes that He is a direct descendant of Odin himself. Soon Garrick launches a world conquest and begins to occupy the known world. When will he stop?
