Queen Sarah, it appears that you have taken the good works of those that wish to protect the future of the Regency as a personal attack on you and your husband. Please realize this is not the case.

You of all people know that the Regency has changed direction. It is taking a path that will lead to its failure and destruction.

Have you not noticed that those that have been most vocal are the Loyalists that have been with the Regency for many years? Have you noticed how few in number they are and how many have abandoned the Regency?

The Regency is a body that needs, nay - REQUIRES support from all its members. The guilds, the Regent's staff, and the Regent as well! Why is it now 3 months since a Fealty Ceremony has taken place? Why is the question of Humanis entering the Regency still a question after nearly a month?
We hear from the General of the Army that the Regent is in communication with them but yet we hear of no decisions. The people can't be lead by a figurehead. The Regent was placed to provide Leadership while Lord British was missing.

Will we now need someone to step in for the Regent as well?

These good people are not attacking your husband personally. Nearly all of them are friends of his. But the future of the many must be weighed more heavily than their friendship of one man. This action would not even be needed if the Regent were to take a more active role again but he was not present even at last nights meeting, one of the most important in the Regency's History!

Your husband made a promise prior to his election to be an "active' Regent. He did this before many witnesses. I was the one that asked for this promise in exchange for my supporting him and I took him at his word.

If you count these people as a threat, then you will need to count myself as a threat as well. That is not something I want but the future of the Regency is more important to me than one single person or myself.

The future of the Regency is at stake here. It must and it will be protected.
