Patrolling the streets of Sanctus, Vian was lost in his anger.

Much of the Sanctus military was off at a celebration for an Umbran leaders return, an Umbran!!! The Lord Commander had not ordered it, but Vian was convinced he had swayed the decision.

It was...utterly...sickening.

The hereos of Sanctus we certainly turning in their graves.

It was a slap in the face to every man, woman, and child that believed in Virtue. It was spitting on the memories of every Sanctian that had died at the hands of an Umbran. To every family that had endured such a loss.

The Umbrans had invited Sanctus as a joke, to mock them. To show that Sanctus was a bunch of fools that could be easily manipulated. The Lord Commander was not only letting it happen, he was encouraging it.

People had told Vian that he was blind in his views of the world.

"It is them that is blind." Vian thought to himself.

"They hold the word of necromancers above the Honor of Sanctus."

The young Prince continued his patrol of Sanctus, unable to come to grips with the nights events.
