In the dark of night as the wind howled outside the shrine of justice. Inside there was a man kneeling near the Shrine with his sword laying on the ground. Many things had happened in this Knights life but recently events have come to pass that have had him questioning his path in life. A forenight ago he stood by two other judges and agreed that there was no evidence for a trial against those of the Dark Awakening while knowing in his heart he was wrong. He now wondered what was becoming of him. He felt like he was losing his grip on what was right and wrong and further more felt he was losing sight of the path the Virtues for so long had placed before him.

As the Knight continued his prayer the wind outside picked up and it began to rain. Lightening flashed in the sky far away. Thunder began to roard above the shrine. The Knight finishing his prayer began to stand up and went to grab his sword when a bolt of lightening came down from the sky into the building and struck the sword knocking the Knight from his feet and knocking him out. The storm outside went on for the rest of the night. When the knight awoke he felt like he had been out for days but it was only the morning of the next day. The knight picked himself off the ground and walked over to his sword. Looking down he could see the sword was broken in half and had melted a bit from the intense heat.

The Knight knew this was a sign and further more now knew what he must do for in his state of sleep a vision was shown to him. A quest was bestrowed upon him. One that would restore his honor and his faith. One he must now take to save his soul even if it cost him his life.
