Jujual had been out for hours, looking for Lord Armunn, but he'd not left much of a trail. He wasn't at his normal training areas, nor was he in town. She'd not been this long from the keep since he had shut himself away and Lady Armunn had needed much seeing to.
Jujual had left her mistress chained to the wall asleep, and it had been the perfect time to check on her lord's condition. Having failed to find trace of him, she'd gone back home to Dark Cove and Keep Armunn weary of travel and needing to make sure her lady was fed.
As she entered the dungeon-way, she could sense something wasn't right and picked up her pace to the cell her lady would be in. She found the cell empty except for two bodies. The charred body of the gardener lay in a heap in a back corner, while the mute servant girl's body lay at what would have been Ditto's feet, had she still been chained. Her head was bleeding but Jujual saw that she still lived and immediatly set to seeing to her wound... a single charred gash on the side of her head. Making the girl comfortable in the nearby hay, the old housekeeper went to find anyone that would know what had happened, although she susupected that this attack was done not by outsiders but by Lady Armunn's own magic...somehow.
Seeing the stableman hauling a sack of oats on his shoulder to take to the shed, Jujual picked up the long skirts of her robe and half ran, wheezing after the tall man, Issac. After a brief questioning she learned that the lady had indeed left not only the Keep, but Dark Cove as well. She had seemed to be her normal self, as Issac put it, but Jujual knew that this was when Ditto needed watching over the most. The sickness could leave her personality in tact but her will was still at it's mercy, as the body of the gardener was proof of that. In her right mind, Ditto would never have hurt the man, much less the young mute girl.
Did her mistress know that Tarothin was missing? Did she perhaps go to seek him out? It would be a calamity if she did. Not knowing Tarothin's state of mind, and knowing only too well what his presence did to his wife as of late.... Jujual had to find Ditto. She was sure that no matter what state his mind was in, Lord Armunn would at least be able to keep himself alive. Ditto on the other hand, not so much.
Jujual quickly prepared herself for a long night of tavern hopping to find her mistress, but first, she would go again to Lord Bloodmoon's residence, hoping that Ditto would have the good sense to seek him out.

Ditto did seek out Lord Bloodmoon, but finding him either not home, or deep in his studies, she'd left there to find herself a nice bottle of wine. Something she hadn't tasted for months. She was, however, oblivious to the fact that her husband had also left the keep. To her, he was still in master suite in a wild like daze.
She would need much wine, she thought, to prepare herself for the tasks she'd given herself. Her beloved sister, Ceinwyn, might be able to shed some light on a few things for her. She was anxious to see how she was faring, but first, she'd visit the Garden & the Den of Sin and check in on the latest of gossips, and perhaps make some headway with her plans.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jujual did not know of the Garden. All she knew of Ditto's haunts were in Mazewood's tavern, Hanse Hostel, and the Den of Sin. She went back and forth between the three places under the guise of getting cleaning supplies, hoping to find Ditto or someone that might mention that they'd seen her.
Staying for her evening meal at Hanse where she was having an interesting conversation with a nice, yet curious gentleman, and a talking rabbit, she'd gotten an odd familiar feeling in her bones and looked to the door, almost happy, expecting to see Ditto. It was not her lady that she'd found, but her lord. Lord Tarothin Armunn had walked in the doorway in a tavern on enemy lands. This simple act alone was highly unlike him. Not without a very good reason.
She sat in shock for a moment, until a thought sprang to her mind. Perhaps he'd learned his wife was missing and came to find her himself.
Pardoning herself from the table, Jujual walked to face and greet her lord. He seemed a bit unsteady and slithtly confused. When she spoke to him directly, she spoted a look of semi recognition in his eyes for a moment, and so, the old housekeeper awaited any instructions from him. But none came. Instead of questioning her, or giving her an order, or even shouting out for his wife, Lord Armunn, merely said he needed to be alone, sounding still a little confused and almost....polite, as he headed to a nearby hostel room.
Had she not been that close to him, and heard his very recognizable voice herself, she would not have believed it. He was going to stay the night in a room on enemy lands. And another peculiar thing was either the Sanctans didn't know he was there, or... they were allowing it.
Had all the world gone mad?
