Ditto awoke extremely early, at first not knowing where she was, she saw a familiar scene out the nearby window of Hanse, and breathed a sigh of relief. The room seem to comfort her more than it normally would have but she didn't question the feeling. Unaware that Tarothin was in the room just beside her, Ditto set out for the long day ahead.

A half a day later and she'd been no closer to any of her goals than when she'd started. Her mind screamed obscenties about Moonglow...Molly... even Tarothin, but she fought off the urges of blowing things up and instead concentrated her hatred to a much finer point. Her devious plot to bring down Moonglow, Molly, and the children of the Dark Order traitors was set well in her mind. She allowed for much room in her plans for any unexpected occurances, yet, she had yet to set any of them in motion. Ditto was beginning to feel as if she was letting her beloved down with the delay, but with the constant struggles to have control over her own emotions had been time consuming.

She needed a glass of wine and good conversation with someone she could trust. Hoping not to miss him again, Ditto arrived at Galnor's home late in the afternoon. If she were lucky, he might have come up with an idea for curing this madness within her. It wasn'a a normal madness. It had been brought on as a side effect from elven healing magic a couple of years before. But it had made Ditto useless to aid her husband until just recently when she finally gave in on the fact that she wanted to gain revenge, and see Taro's enemies destroyed. Afterall, she was his wife. It was the least she could do. And just maybe, it would help heal Taro's own madness.

Her reasoning was logical for her enough at the time, but it was not "her" reasoning. The ancestral voices had been controlling Ditto's actions for such a long time that she was close to losing who she was entirely. Outwardly, she seemed normal enough to most people, until she nonchalantly described in bloody detail what it was that she planned to do. It hadn't taken Galnor long to see that Ditto did indeed need help. More so, than even she knew. They would discuss things over wine where she could relax and think clearly. For Galnor, he was quick to note that the times when Ditto's willpower waned, were the times when her outbursts occurred. He would keep her calm and together, they would think of soemething.

Arriving in Sanctus, the air seemed fresher, the sun shone happier in Ditto's mind. It was an odd sort of feeling that she waved off when she noticed that Sanctus seemed to be doing their routine drills. What luck! She use to love to attend the drills with Cat. The two would sit together and admire the skill and the tushes. Cat....Jujual had told Ditto that Cat was dead. She couldn't be..wanting to get the thought out of her head, she urged Galnor to watch the drills with her, but as luck would have it, they were ending and so the two headed inside. Relaxing back in the chair, the two began discussing the problem at hand. Ditto was adamant that she had to help Tarothin, but to do that, she had to heal herself first. It was just about at that statement that one of the soldiers walked in. Smiling to greet whoever came in, Ditto turned to see Tarothin. At least it she might have seen him. Doubting her sanity at the moment, she asked Galnor. He confirmed that yes, indeed, that did look like Tarothin.
Ditto's mind reeled with thoughts. She'd heard no screaming outside. No clang of weapons. No roaring. Before she could question her huband, he merely walked to one of the inn rooms. Something was definatly off here, but she wasn't sure if it were her or Taro. Galnor had no clue what was going on but he kept assuring her, she wasn't hallucinating.

She knocked a few times at the door Tarothin had entered but got no reply, so she walked in, Galnor soon after as well. A brief conversation later, and she discovered that Taro was here for redemption and justice. He wanted to redeem himself. The voices screamed continuously that Taro was weak, that he needed to be put out of his misery, that Sanctus should be burned to the ground....confusion overwhelmed her and she had an outburst, quickly recovering momentarily she excused herself for some fresh air to pull herself together. Ditto walked out with Tarothin's odd comment about air lingering in her mind.

She stood outside of Hanse for a few moments. 'Don't DO anything.' She told herself. 'Just pull yourself together and listen to what he says.' The voices were always louder around Tarothin, yet she herself, was stronger. Having seperated herself from him to save him all this time, had perhaps been a terrible idea.

Slipping back in the hostel room, she heard Galnor's threatening tone toward Tarothin, and she was confused again. What in Sosaria would make Galnor want to threaten Taro? He was normally a very controlled person, even in the face of Taro's past furies. There were questions from Galnor, and Tarothin had answers....odd ones, confused ones, but he had them. Ditto tilted her head and looked into Taro's eyes. He was struggling to believe what he was saying. Why would one struggle if one truely believes? There did seem to be one thing he was convinced of...something he himself had corrected people on many times. He seemed now to more refer to the daemon as something seperate. Did he believe himself possessed? If Tarothin acted on this belief, he could do much harm to himself, and to her.

Galnor's threatening tone became a much clearer threat. One that would have both insulted and made Taro laugh in the past. Tarothin, though, dismissed it now. Ditto blinked. She couldn't believe what was going on. Was she the sanest one in the room? This was most unlike Galnor. And Tarothin...yes, this was indeed him, but he was wrong somehow. All wrong. He was holding back. That much was obvious. Holding back any emotion to show through. She sighed out loud. When would he learn? He was only going to make things worse if he kept this up. To hide his emotions, meant that there was something there to hide in the first place. Whether it be rage, happiness, guilt...it was an improvement over just a couple of years ago. Yet another way he was endangering himself.
Ditto was almost frantic in her own mind now that she be cured. Taro needed her now more than ever. And she'd have to be curerd to be of any use at all. Even if all he needed her for, was to be by his side, supporting him.

She had to leave him now, but she loved him and would be by him always. No matter what. No matter where. She told him this before giving him a small kiss on the head. He remained stoic and she and Galnor left his room.

Galnor, as always, was brilliant. He took the problem at hand, back to it's source: the elven healing magic, and Molly. Together Molly and Galnor devised a way to try to heal Ditto. Almost an anti form of the weaving that had been made that night a couple of years ago when Molly thought Ditto to be dying and tried to heal her.
The visions that transpired in her mind seemed to be brought to life in an unnerving fashion. The ancestors of her Melnibone blood were all too real when they laughed at her, jeered, and threatened. It was almsot as if she watched them leave her. Some struck out at her and she could feel the pain from it. There was the terror that she'd finally gone completely mad. And then.....her eyes opened and she saw Galnor standing over her, his arms folded. She didnt' recognize the room but later found out it was a bed Molly had found for her. While Molly was off to get her some water, Galnor asked her questions about how she felt toward people.
It was a relief that she no longer held the anger she once had for so long toward people who didn't deserve it. She was also horrified as the memories of things she'd done and had been about to do came to the surface. Hiding those thoughts behind a sencere smile of gratitude when Molly came back in, she struggled to hug her thanks.

She still had alot of work to do, but this time, it wouldn't involve conquest, destruction, or torture. This time, it only involved the love she had for her husband.
