The following notice is posted on all public buildings of Umbra, in and outside of the city proper, as well as various trees along thoroughfares and all dungeon entrances.

Drayden was happening through Umbra late that evening. He found the stillness of this
dark city rather comforting. Especially at this late hour. The Drow was passing by the bank
and the seal of Umbra on the Matriarch's directive caught his sensitive eyes. He paused for
a moment then to read over the posting.

A small quiet laugh escaped him then.
"Some things never change....good thing I'm no where near a Sanctan" With a shrug he
continued on with his evening round, making a mental note of this recent development in
the politics of Malas. He left then, using his magic to transport him to his desert home.

Clinging to the shadows and, she hoped, out of the range of detectability, Bae'vin watched the male as he read the posted warning. It seemed she remembered having met him previously in Umbra, and the slightest smile crept to the corners of her mouth.

It is true, she thought to herself, there are too few of us. Surface elves and humans were running amok. Perhaps it was time to at least pretend to fit in with her own kind. For who only knew what the round-ears and pale ones planned?
