Hello all! ok I need help to figure this out. Oks so back when you can do this quest where you had to get this green curse scroll and then after that you get likt this red book anyways i done the quest alread and then on another night with friends killing i forgot what though were call where the cursed scroll pop in bag anyways i was killing help my firend killing them and i got a cursed scroll in my bag. My problem is first i dont want to do the quest again , then i tried droping the green curse scroll and it pop back in my bag didnt work i try puting it in a container at my house didnt work stupid thing pop back up. So for awhile now the green cursed scroll been in bag for awhile and i am get sick of that thing I want to get rid of it. Please if anyone can help , show me in the uo game or suggest how the hey you get rid of the stupid thing , Please post back and please help me. Thank You for your time in reading this!

If you can't quit the quest, then I would call a GM. That's what I would do, but there is probably a better, correct answer out there.

Have to page a GM if quitting the quest doesn't work or isn't an option.

They made it so some quest items stay in your bag and can't be dropped as folks were able to get the items used in the quest, sell it as rare and quit/restart the quest to get another.

Older quests you have to click yourself and choose "quit quest", or whatever looks like that option. The ones they released before (I think ML? maybe before SE) Didn't go into the quest menu that you tab to in the paperdoll. When they made new quests, they never updated the old ones to go into the menu, they just left them the old way. Because like most UO stuff, the upgrading was half-done.

So click your sprite/toon in game, the same way you do when you insure items, and see if there is an option to quit a quest. You may be on an old quest- which you could only do them one at a time back then. You would need to quit if you want to do a different (old) one.

Some of the older quests include - Solen quests, naturalist quest, etc. Anything where the quest menu isn't in a big grey story box, that becomes accessible from paperdoll quest tab.

I hope that anything I just said makes sense or helps. Or both.
