Ilshinar.
A place filled with both beauty and danger. It was no wonder why Ditto would be drawn here on a day she needed to think about all that had transpired since her return and all that was yet to happen.

Alone and laying nude under the giant oak tree, her hands tucked under her head, Ditto stared up into the sky, observing a single, giant cloud. At first glance the cloud appeared unmoving, going no where, but over time it was obvious that the cloud was not only moving at it's own pace, but getting larger and gathering strength. A lazy smile played upon her lips as a metaphorical meaning played itself out in her head.

Suddenly there was a cascade of lightning dancing along the rim of the cloud and a tremendous thunder clap crashed loudly into her ears, causing her whole body to jump at the shock. Refusing to take her eyes from the cloud, she watched as the rain streams exploded down onto the ground until nothing could be seen of the cloud that had once been so vibrant in the skies above. After a moment or two, she allowed herself to feel the rain pouring down across her body, mixing with a single tear that ran down her cheek and onto her shoulder. She watched as other droplets of rain mixed in to slide down her arm and onto the ground. The tear and the droplets soon became a small pool of liquid, and each new droplet causing a sudden ripple in the tiny world it became part of.

A slow smile spread across her face and Ditto's eyes brightened to a soft glowing violet. With a renewed purpose, and strength now to carry on what should be done, she jumped up from the ground, running from her hidden oak grove to get to the nearest stables she could find. . As she ran to the edge of the stable yard to ask for her mount, her sharp, melnibonean hearing caught the sound of a gasp across the road. Turning her attention to the sound, she saw a young gypsy girl looking at her, quite amused and trying to hold back a giggle. Looking down at herself, confused, it became clear what the gasp had been. Running quickly away from anyone else who might see her, Ditto went back to the oak grove to retrieve her clothes.

She wanted,....needed to see Tarothin. Although she would not tell him of her thoughts and the decissions she had made after watching the life of a cloud, she knew he would be able to read it in her eyes.
