Fansite Contests for Beta entry

We have four sites participating with contests for entry to the Stygian Abyss Beta. Each site has their own unique contest. Each site can determine up to 3 winners for Beta Entry.

Please Note: Additional prizes outside of the Beta Entries are the sole responsibility of the fansite running the contest. For additional questions for these contests please contact the associated Fansite.
Stratics

Objective:
Create your own concept of the abyss

How:
Using currently available housing tiles and decor items

Where:
On any EA shard, including test center
or using Kurgan's housebuilder.

Entries:
A single image, cropped to the game window only - no top bar, no task bar, no paper doll
800 x 600 maximum size. .jpg, .gif or .png format.

Eligibility:
one entry per person.

Exclusions:
Already invited beta testers (Winning entries will be checked by EA)
Stratics Admins.

Entry period:
Midnight (EDT) Friday 19th June to Midnight (EDT)Saturday 27th June.

When: Judge's votes to be submitted by midnight, 30th June, Result to be announced Noon (EDT) 1st July

“The Ultima Online Roleplaying Community site would like to announce a Virtue Short Story Contest! Three talented winners will receive one (1) Stygian Abyss Beta Code!

Rules for the contest are simple:
Register on the Forums with a valid email address
Write a short story relating to the Virtues (Britannian, Gargoyle, or Anti-Virtue)
Email your story (from the email you used to register) to contests AT uorpc.net by Saturday, June 20th at 10pm CST (Please include your character name and shard at the top.)
Stories will be judged on creativity, originality, and how well the story reflects on the core of the Virtue (or Principle) chosen.

Entries will be judged by midnight on Sunday, June 21st. Three winners will be announced on this site on Monday, June 22nd at noon (CST). Each will receive one (1) Stygian Abyss Beta Code and their story will be featured on the main page of UORPC.NET. All entries will posted in the forums after the winners are announced.

UOGuide Stygian Abyss Beta Contest

Looking for another chance to get into the highly anticipated Stygian Abyss beta? Well you have found one here! UOGuide is offering everyone a chance to win one of three beta access keys. To enter is simple, create a new establishment, event location or point of interest page on UOGuide. You will be automatically entered into the random drawing.


Entry Details

Create a new page of one of the following:
Establishment - An article about the history of a player owned structure. For an example is Atlantic:Goodman's Rune Library. For details on how to submit an establishment see this page.
Event Location - An article about a special location where an event took place. There should event remnants present indicating something had happened. A screenshot should incorporate such items and a description of the event activities written. For an example see Fan Dancer Dojo - Demon House.
Point of Interest - An article about a location in UO which is interesting. For examples see the Meer Catacombs and Desert Outpost (East).
Each entry needs to have the following to qualify:
At least one screenshot showing the area.
Shard, Facet, and Coordinate details as necessary.
A decent amount of writing on details, history and other tidbits about the location.

Drawing Details
On Monday June 22 8:00PM EST (-5 GMT), the winners will be drawn in-game using a Lucky Dealer. The drawing will be held on the Atlantic Shard Trammel Facet in Lord British's Castle Throne Room. Each entry will be added to this event announcement and numbered. For each entry the UOGuide drawer will roll 1 dice with 100 sides and assign that result to each entry in order. The 3 highest numbers will win. If multiple numbers are highest then a roll-off will be performed for all entries involved. If two entries by the same person are highest than the next highest number will be the subsequent winner.

Winners will then be contacted via their UOGuide email associated with their user account. Make sure it is up to date prior to the drawing.

Contest Details
Starts from the time of this posting and ends on June 21, 2009 11:59PM EST (-5 GMT)
To participate in the beta you must fully complete and submit the Stygian Abyss Beta Application. If you already have you do not need to submit again.
UOGuide Staff are not allowed to enter (SysOps)
A person can enter multiple times, however can only win once
While normally establishments may be submitted by anyone, for the first 4 days of this contest (until Wednesday June 17, 11:59 EST [-5 GMT]), only the owner may submit their house. After which time anyone may as long as they can provide sufficient information.
UOGuide reserves the right to update any and all contest rules as necessary

The SA Beta Contest will start tonight at 10PM GMT time and will run for 7 days.
The closing time for entry will be 10PM GMT on Friday the 19th of June, 2009
Rules:

Staff can enter
One entry per person.
Current beta testers may not enter
A geniune willingness to test the new client/game and to submit feedback wherever possible using the private Mythic SA Beta forums
Winners will receive a PM with a unique CODE which must then be sent to a designated EA/Mythic email address to collect the SA Beta code.
There will be three winners picked from the top entries, with a beta code for each winners, plus a set amount of gold for each winning tier (i.e. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place)
Prizes:

1st prize - 1X SA Beta Access Code + 10 million gold on any Western/European Shard (Excluding Siege)
2nd prize - 1X SA Beta Access Code + 5 million gold on any Western/European Shard (Excluding Siege)
3rd prize - 1X SA Beta access code + 2.5 million gold on any Western/European Shard (Excluding Siege)
