Tatiana sobbed softly yet again for all the lost lives. That darn Darrien Church was such a cruel man. She knew first hand how evil he was. She rubbed her belly absentmindedly as her thoughts drifted back. Tatiana looked again at the destruction and entered the area cautiously. It looked like it would fall down at any moment. It was going to take some time to get it all torn down. She called some workers forward and set them to work carefully removing debris. Leaving instructions, she left the area and went to see about housing for those now displaced.
Much later, Tatiana sat down near exhausted and looked at the parchment. Taking her quill in hand she started to make notes of all the supplies that would be needed. She circled the word stone and set her quill down. She would need help, and lots of it. There were no mountains nearby and she would need lots of stone. Tatiana considered a notice, but, she so hated relying on others. All too often, she had been abandoned by those she loved and trusted. She had learned to count on only herself. Glancing out the window at the destruction, she took a deep breath and wrote out the notice.

Tatiana could not believe it. A whole ARMY of people showed up to help gather stone. She smiled ear to ear and shook her head in disbelief; she just couldn't get over it. It would still take more but this was a nice hefty start. Then it smacked her; good lord now she had to get all of this rock back to Mazewood. It was going to take bunches of pack animals to haul it there. Valiant was a trooper but it would take him forever to haul all this by himself. Chewing her lip, Tatiana knew she would have to ask for help again. It was a long trek from the Britain moongate to Skara Brae. She thought about that Mr. Cal for a moment but knew he would be much too expensive. He would be more interested in helping kings and other royalty. The Blue Lotus might be able to help, and Moonglow.... she had always counted them friends, ever since Mr Galathan had... well apologized. Shoot she was even Godmother to Mr Naz's and Ivae's daughter. Shaking her head to change thoughts, she looked around at the stone again. Well it was a cinch it would not be going anywhere on its own. Patting the stone she called Valiant to her and they left to see about gathering help for next week.

Tatiana patted Valiant on his hard shell again and urged him to drag out the newest pile of debris. She walked beside him, checking the area, worrying over the stability. She really hoped she could get it taken down carefully without mishap. Tatiana stacked the salvagable pieces to the side and had the gypsies take the rest to be buried. It was slow going. She didn't want any of the others helping, they had suffered enough. She would get it all done, one trip after another. Tatiana looked back at the remains. One more trip today and then let Valiant rest and eat. He was such a great companion. Smiling softly, she rubbed his head, "you are my best friend, my valiant warrior, my guardian."
Rubbing her own forehead she started planning on all the stone that had to be moved this weekend. If she got a pack of mules, it might be enough to move them. But it was going to be a long walk. Chewing her bottom lip, she hoped it woud be a quiet one. Lady Starfire had enough to worry about. And it was Tatiana's job to see to it that all ran well in Mazewood. Blast that Darrien Church. He had always been an awful person. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, she turned her attention back to the trek coming up and the work at hand. Tatiana lead Valiant to his stall and gave him lots of food. He had certainly earned it. She wandered back to the manor and sat down to work with the architect, making notes and pointing out weak areas in his design. As they went over the designs, Tatiana started tracking how much stone it would take, how much wood, glass. She was determined to make it better and stronger. Too many lives had been lost. Not ever again if she could help it.
