Ditto walked down the long hall of the Armunn house, confused and weary. The day had been a long one full of emotion and sometimes adventure. In her hand she carried a long, near glowing staff. With it's height being much taller than she, it should've been much heavier, instead, it was light as a feather, and easy to wield. She turned down the hall, making her way through the dinning room and into the small sitting room with many windows. It was a nice place to contemplate and she'd found herself drawn here on many occassions.

She had started her day off at a History class instructed by Galnor Bloodmoon. It had been both interesting and insightful, and they'd even gone on a fieldtrip to visit a few key locations in Malas. Her guard, Valmyr, had even taken a fancy to one of the other students, Engel. And she had discovered that the Dark Order men weren't totally fearless of all things when she saw that Valmyr was afraid of heights when he protested walking across a rope bridge.

Later in the day, she saw a most surprising face. Her close friend, Markus. He had just returned from a long journey and right away began telling her a tale of discovering who his father was and that he'd brought something back from that experience. A magical staff, once held by Markus' father. He told of how it would double the inner power of it's weilder and destroy the soul of those with foul purpose that came in physical contact with it. Markus' purpose had been pure. Wanting only a reminder of his father to take with him, but now...he feared that purpose might change over time, and to keep it safe and secure, he now came to entrust it to his friend, Ditto. A lady who's heart had seemed pure and trusting. She would not be able to use the staff's many gifts since she was not of the blood of his father, but, holding it for safekeeping was the intent. At first, Ditto had not seen anything wrong with this deed requested of her, but then, she remembered something that might prove a complication. Ditto had to make one request of Markus before she would hold the staff and whispered that request in his ear. Markus, agreed and now Ditto was staring down at this unique magical item, pondering it's history, it's very creation. She knew only what Markus had told her, which was, all in all, very little. She could see a potential to use the staff for good purposes but knew in her heart, that ultimatly, it would pose problems of greed for power. The staff was for Markus, when the purpose was right. When the time was right. So, until that time, Ditto would try and protect the staff from any other hand.

Rising from her seat, Ditto walked out of the small room and despite her tired, sleepy body, went on her way to find a safe haven for the staff and it's deadly power.
