Im curious.
How many people know what RSS feeds are, and how many people use them?

Im asking because Ive approached the webmaster with an idea.

think of it as a "whats happening now" forum.

say your at humility doing a champ spawn and its getting pretty active, or theres alot of people

Youd make a post on the boards, and it would send out a message to everyone with their browser minimized.
for me on opera i get a 3 second popup on the bottom right corner of my screen where i can click to read the post.

RSS is really easy and cool. Hell it stands for really simple syndication.
So tell me what you think.

I know what they are and use them A LOT. It is so much easier on a lot of sites I pay attention too to actually click the RSS feed at the top on my Firefox page then to go to those pages and find the new posts.

used to use RSS quite alot on WoW and NWN online, been a few years but they were deffinatly effective.

The mini-window that poped up at the time had a quick reply option sort of like the new ICQ feature.
