The evening grew late. The sounds of a bitter storm brewed off the shores of Jhelom. After a day in the new Council Halls Jeren found peace in the chill and rumbling of a sky. He walked the perimeter of the Jhelom Arena. His memory of the grand battles that once were held in the heavy, loose sand below being kicked up by the riders and warriors at arms. Nothing beat the entertainment of the joust, two men swinging their swords in a display that resembled a dance. His life began here...and he knew that his purpose was to bring back a city that was once full of joy; full of life! As the storm brought forth a heavy breeze his thoughts were clear...Jeren would bring back the edge of a seat, heart pumping excitement, and screaming audience that gave Jhelom a unique place amongst the many other cities across the lands.
He slowly walked back to his office has the rain slowly came down. Jeren had a lot of work to do to prepare for if he was to bring back the entertainment and class that once placed Jhelom on the map. As he open the door a citizen from behind Jeren down the road yelled out. Jeren turned to look closely at who spoke. The man stood shaking his fist in the air soaking wet from the storm that grew powerful. His words made Jeren realize that this idea was something that the entire world should experience.
As Jeren brought his hand up to acknowledge the citizen he walked inside closing the door with those words stuck in his head....
"Show the world we're ready...JHELOM IS ALIVE!" |
