Adobe updated Flash Player to fix a security vulnerability. This vulnerability is being actively exploited.

Follow the steps below to update flash on your computer:

1) Download and run the Flash Player Uninstaller from this page to remove all old versions of Flash Player

2) Get the latest version from this page.

In addition, Microsoft released an out of schedule security fix on Tuesday, make sure you've run windows updates to apply that fix as well.

Another helpful tool is the Flashblock addon for Firefox. This way only the flash objects you want to play will begin playing. It's actually a good way to make annoying advertisements frack off too.
