*an ornate wooden box lies inside the door of The Legion's stronghold, with a note attached to the top reading 'To Vaen and his Legion'*
*Opening the small box up reveals a rolled up scroll which reads as follows:*
Greetings dear Vaen,
It has been awhile since we have met each other's gaze. I trust time has been good to you. Enough with the formalities though, let's get to business. I do cordially extend to you an invitation for you and your ilk....Natalya, Rachel, Valatin, yourself and the lot of you....To join in watching as The Grand Imperial Army of Azeroth lays waste to your city of Minoc.
Promptly at Five o'clock by the eastern sun on Saturday, your presence is requested to watch as we are scheduled to slaughter the last lot of Minoc's citizens: it's nobility. The city is already being stripped of anything of significant monetary value, including resources, so you can't continue to milk these poor people dry to further your ulterior motives.
We're doing what's best for them, Vaen. You may come and watch as we free them from their misery. We've tried to save these people from your wretched sword of opression, but you wont let us be. So, instead, we will adopt a burnt earth policy.
Come watch all you've worked for crumble under the might of Azeroth. This is a very simple game Vaen......checkmate |

*After reading the letter aloud to Natalya, Valatin, Rachel, and Kolero, Vaen set the letter down on a table infront of him in the guild house*
Valatin spoke up, "We have to act now..."
Vaen shook his head.
"What do you mean no?" Valatin asked.
"I mean, no. That is exactly what he thinks us to do. We read the letter, we rush in immediately, and there they are, waiting for us."
Valatin nodded and sighed. Rachel then spoke up, "Well, what should we do? We can't just let them do it."
Vaen nodded.
Rachel spoke again, "What if he's lying? What if he's already burnt the town down?"
"Bailos doesn't lie in that aspect, Rachel." Vaen said. "For some reason, the man is entirely honest, yet cursed."
Rachel nodded in agreement.
"So, here's what we're going to do," Vaen said, "We have an invitation to be there at..." Vaen picked up the letter and read over it once more, "At five o'clock on Saturday. We will then show up in Minoc at five o'clock on Saturday."
"What if we show up and the town is in flames?" Kolero asked.
"It won't be." Vaen said.
"How can you be so sure?"
"Trust me."
Kolero nodded.
"Five in the Afternoon. Saturday. We march into Minoc, and save it from Azeroth. Until then, get some rest, eat well, and sleep well. It won't be an easy one."
The lot of them nodded, and parted ways. Vaen picked up the letter once more, reading it over, nodding.
"Invitation accepted." _________________
