Since Kael brought up VtM with the whole lego thing it kind of peaked my curiosity...
...anyone play/have played Werewolf: the Apocalypse? A couple friends and I recently started a pack and are havin fun with it, and I got curious as to who else in the community plays the game, what tribes/auspices people prefer, etc... _________________ |

Yea it is WoD.
Played it in three time lines, Wild West, Medieval and Modern. It is completely geared towards fighting so its easy on the game master to create adventures and players to RP in. My fave tribe is the Spiral Dancers since they are the most interesting. Glasswalkers are the easiest to play though Bone Gnawers have the best late level abilities and everyone wants to play a homeless dude.
Cant say it is too fun to play but its interesting enough I suppose. |

Werewolf the Forsaken is their new line. Much less "super combat ownzors" and more into the monster aspect and dealing with their "struggle". |

I've done Ling and Wraith W.O.D.
Wolf seemed sort of neat. |

I own virtually every book from the Werewolf line from the old WoD.
I've ran and played dozens of campaigns.
By and far my favorite of the old WoD.
Stargazers FTW. _________________

The frightening thing is that doesn't seem to be out of character for you. Both IC and IRL. _________________

We've been having a lot of fun with it lately. I started a Fianna who's a Galliard and it's been fun. The drunken Irishman with a big-ass sword. (Damn right, I went with the Grand Klaive right off the bat... with a War Spirit for double damage.)
I never played Wraith but always wanted to try it. From what I understand, though, it was never really popular. I did take some of the lore for Aras though. (He can moliate!) _________________ |

I played a Fianna for a day. Never got to play more than that, due to lack of people in the area who did it. Was fun though. |

I have a thing about playing Ahrouns.
Best two I ever played were
Xian Counts-the-Grain: a 15 year old Buddist martial artist Stargazer that typically spoke in philisophical prose. Was originally nicknamed "Cookie" by his pack after quoting Confucious one too many times in a raid on a Pentex owned chemical plant. Within a few weeks, the name was revised to "In Bed" by the Fianna Ragabash in the pack, thinking it would make everything he said more interesting. (The people I played with would NEVER let the fortune cookie joke go, to the point where a couple of them started calling me Cookie as an IRL nickname for a few months.)
Lothar Munz - A Get of Fenris Biker Ronin, that kept his partner in crime (a teenage Toreador dancer/rythmic gymnist/martial artist) buttoned up in his WW2 vintage Harley sidecar. They made alot of money hunting and destroying Sabbat nests travelling from town to town. _________________
