The courier bears a letter, written on fine alabaster vellum parchment and a flat package.



Ceinwyn,

This was the one place I knew of you being, I hope this letter finds it's way to you.

Once the image came to mind, I simply could not get it out of my head. I hopefully captured you in a way only my mind's eye has ever pictured you before.

I prefer to work in oils, but knowing how fresh and urgent this was in my mind, I had to use watercolors. I hope you enjoy it.

I should like to try this again, without interruptions next time, where I can paint you with you actually there as a model the whole time, rather than painting you from memory and imagination.
