The gypsies will be holding a winter holiday bonfire festival type event in a little over a month.

So let's hear your opinions!

Brit Summer Festival Area

or

Minoc tent city

or

Other location (feel free to offer an idea, there are so many great waysides in Sosaria!)

Be sure to post your suggestion, so I have a visual cue on who thinks what!

Thanks!

What about that "Loot" rune spot. Good place to have a scavenger hunt or set up a gypsy encampment.

Same for Buc's Den caves.

That's an awesome idea for a place to 'winter' gypsies who haven't got enough money to travel or lodge!
It would also be a great party spot. Thanks Tai!

My vote is either for the tents outside minoc...Or....for the gypsy set up down from Compassion in illshenaar. Its a short run with only low level monsters on the way, and its got carts and a fire and some seating. Lots of room in front of the cave.

I'd think it could be a great spot.

I like the idea of Minoc or the gypsy camps in Ilsh. I'd suggest the one little "town" but that's nasty to get through for someone like crafters or such. TYhe compassion one works well. Basically safe for the most part, for ilsh anyway.

If the new Luna Fairgrounds are built, I'd go with that. Otherwise Minoc.

wtf. When -WE- make a giant bonfire in celebration of Oblivion, it's evil. When YOU make a giant bonfire for winter, the season of cold and death, it's celebration.

I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND YOU PEOPLE.

I vote the gypsy encampment! It'll make it more authentic and will make sure no conflicts between EM events that suddenly pop up.

If I can help with your event, please ask!

Well there is no way that Merci would miss a Winter festival of any sort, she will be there with bells on. I might even dress her up like a lady of snow for it.

Can't Wait!

It seems the majority of folks who responded here and in ICQ prefer the idea of Minoc.

Minoc it will be. Possibly Spring or Summer-fest will be Britain or elsewhere.

Details are forthcoming...but meantime...

This will likely be between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The closer to Dec. 21st the better, but I'm also trying to take into account how crazy people's 'other reality' gets this time of year.

There will be lots of fun to be had; a bonfire of course (which will be closely monitored to make sure that particular band of Malas residents doesn't sacrifice someone in the flames) will be blazing and tended.

Some of the current ideas are games, contests, storytelling, dancing, tons of food and drink, and other things.

Any gypsies or gypsies-at-heart are more than welcome to offer ideas or even old ideas with a new spin/twist.

Thanks for the input!

Hmph. This is why we need to hold our own festivals. You people are RACIST.

Pssh... she said "someone" Kaelthir... we both know they aren't really people, but food and toys. So obviously she doesn't mean the Order.

((Just kidding, of course Xana))

See, this is why I need you. You remind me about loopholes such as dehumanizing people we don't like.
