Korin sat on the snow covered floor of the top most room of his new home. Naked from the waist up, and bare foot. It was late afternoon in the stonegate valley and the clouds had rolled in and a light snow fell gently to the ground. Korin had spent the better part of the day walking around the tower with the stone mason in charge of the construction. There had been a brief arguement over some admittance of doors and walls in certain parts of the building. Korin had assured the man that it was build to his design and he was happy with the final building. After money was exchanged and the work crews had all let korin had retreated to the upper room which, was not really a room but more of a open area with arches and the outside appearance of a roof.

Korin raised his face, and closed his eyes letting the wet snow gentle caress his face as it drifted down from the clouds. Slowly he raised his arms out to the side. With his eyes closed and his face lifted towards the sky, Korin began to slowly pull in cold air from around him into his body. Farther and Farther out he reached slowly sucking the cold air to him. Korin understood what would happen if he drew it all to him at once and was being very carefull to reach out in all directions and draw it in slowly. When Korin felt that he could hold no more He openned his mouth and gently blew cold air up, He also started to release it thur his body.

The clouds darkened and the wind began to blow harder. The snow began to fall faster, korin could feel the flakes now hitting his skin. As the wind driven snow started to sting his bare skin korin slowly stood. Taking a deep breath he began to slowly spin around in a circle letting out all the cold he had taken in from the valley. The stones of the building turned an, almost blue color as rock itself began to freeze. Snow was piling in drifts all around the tower. Ice was starting to form out of the cracks in the stones, and still the snow fell. Korin with all his power embued the stone of the building itself with cold. Driving cold into every nock and cranky of this structure.

Korin folded his arms across his chest, his eyes rolled back in his head and he fell backwards. Exshausted, Korin lay in the snow. Its cold creeping back into his body. The snow giving back to him what he, had given to this building. Korin awoke the snow had slowed down it was now just a gentle drifting snow the wind was a gentle breeze causing the snow flakes to dance as they drifted ever so silently to the ground. Korin used his hands and arms to pile the snow up around him and closed his eyes again. This was home now, and with thoughts of snowflakes, and snow men dancing in his head he fell back to sleep.
