Merci rested her eyes on Drale her Kryss pointed sharply at him. The entire room was silent watching in silent surprise. Yet a moment ago there had been frivolity and laughter and now there was a bit of surprise as the Oracle had turned a serious eye upon the situation.

Drale stared unafraid and the question seemed to seep into him. Merci knew what the question meant to him, and he knew that she had dropped it on him with a purpose. Timed poised to magnificence. Tell me what you know of Trinsic..she had thrust the blade at him almost like a challenge. One might wonder why the Oracle would care, didnt she herself know?

I only know the past a few hundred years ago I wouldnt know now...that was his reply. She smiled slightly lowering her blade. Drale and Merci went back to the golden days of Umbra, he was the corpse that had rotted and made his way there. Umbra had granted this rotting sack of flesh intelligence, a mind, free will... So he knew his past, he knew his being even if his body was slowly deteriorating..

It was with surprise that she was met yet again by those who sat in that room when they learned of Drales beginning. The Noble, the Virtuous Paladin who had seen the undead rise and bringing their destruction Trinsic kill even the innocent, even the great Paladin Drale. Yet they had not let him go at that he had somehow been twisted into one of them and then had roamed until he had found home... Until he had found his clan. The Outcast, the Forsaken, Drale...

We turn the coin as this went on and into the room walked one of Stonegates newer members, someone that looked fresh off the battlefield of Sanctus. A Pion of Light a full platemailed Paladin. The metal shined with theintensity of his heart but even Tarewin had been outcast. Kicked from their fold he held strong to his beliefs but realized that it was all subjective that Stonegate was a clan of warriors that would fight and defend each other to the last breath. That battle and strength, was the key. That the wolf king would not lead him astray. The Outcast, the Forsaken, Tarewin.

So it had been that even Merci one who had once shunned the virtuous as foolish and misguided had seen that in this simple plan, as undead stood now next to virtuous, both from the great paladin city of Trinsic but opposite in nature, the key to all that was Malas. That which had escaped and alluded so many. Stonegate had been chosen and gifted with knowledge.

Turn not your eyes from friend and foe,
Diversity is strength.
The enemy lies not within one man,
It lies within the many that walk astrayed...
Collect the Pieces...
