Alaundril had kept to his home recently. Making preparations for the coming days of war. He found the sealed envelope waiting for him in the sitting area of Shadowhall. It only took him a few moments to read over the contents and he let out a long sigh.

When they said soon I didn't realize now. He shook the thought away and pulled a fresh piece of paper and wrote:

Oracle,
It comes as a surprise that it is so soon. But not unwelcome. I will speak with you before the meeting tonight if that is agreeable.

The Shadowmancer left his short reply at Stonegate Keep, with her name and rank clearly written.
