King sits at his desk, and takes pen to paper.

"Dearest Friend,

I realize that years have passed since I was a member of your house, and I am loathe to trouble you on such short notice. There has been much unrest as of late, but I have a favor to ask of you.

There has been an announcement of a Tourney, and I would like to enter. Alas, my house colors are not recognized for entry. Having flown your colors in the past, I might ask for your sponsorship in said tournament, and for you to allow me to represent your house for this tourney. It would be my distinct pleasure and honor to serve the House Gauntlet once again.

Before you answer, we have much to talk about, and I should like to meet with you at your earliest convenience to pass on to you all that has transpired in the last couple of years so that you can fully understand the changes I have gone through. Just understand that I am on a mission set upon me by a mutual friend, Lord Thomas. He does send his regards M'Lady, and hopes that all is well with you.
