Tai Kwan entered the chamber through a secret door. He was short but broad. The man with the island features stops three paces short of his destination. As he adjusts his uniform he kneels in the presence of the Worldmind.

“Most gracious oracle I present myself,” Tai Kwan says as he holds the Otori Signet Prime ring aloft.

“That is not the proper access routine,” a cold voice reverberates in the chamber.

“very well …

“Alpha Prime level access granted. Good evening, Sensei Tai Kwan” gently resounds in the chamber.

“Repeat the prophecy.”

“Sensei, this is the 8th time you have requested to access this information. It has not changed. Your son will die in the battle for Luna,” gears and mechanisms turn and blink.
