"Greetings Esteemed Friend and/or Ally,

Be it known to you that as of yesterday, PEACE has been declared between the government of Yew and that of Blackmarsh. A treaty has been signed by both parties which cedes the entirety of Yew, Felucca, to Blackmarsh. A special term of the treaty is that forces of Blackmarsh will not attack, nor join any who launch an attack upon, Yew, Trammel.

King Sid and myself signed the treaty for Yew. Mayor Denzin Bracken and Cal Hurst signed the treaty for Blackmarsh. Witnesses were present.

This effectively ends hostilities between the two nations. Yew, Trammel, hereby recognizes the sovereignty of Blackmarsh over Yew, Felucca, henceforth. Blackmarsh lays no claims to Yew, Trammel.

Your valiant efforts on behalf of Yew are noted. In due time a special commemoration will be held to honor you and those under your banner who aided us in this endeavor. We remain grateful to you all.

Regent Thraxas,
I am glad for the common folk that peace as been achieved. I wish the results could have been greater in defense of Yew Felucca. Let us hope these ex-mercenaries care more for the common man than they do for gold. It is hard to conceive of the heart of a mercenary changing. We can only pray the virtues have steered them in a better path. In the end, it is the prosperity of the laborers of the land, workers in the shops, and all the other people that make up the land that means the most. That is the only true wealth anyone can ever achieve.
