Archon Itannar received word of Yew, Felucca's new government and the ending of the war. His relief was visible on his face. "Glad that is over," he said to himself. Looking across the table his informant nodded, waiting for his tip. Itannar paid him a few coins, thanked him, and sent him on his way.

There was much to be done...

The Academy could now be reopened; classes could begin again. He was glad of that. Too long the building had lain empty and unused. Soon that would change he hoped.

He would meet with Mayor Bracken as soon as he could to formulate some kind of agreement with them. Alderglen could not prosper if cut off and isolated. Having clearly offended his former employer, Thraxas, he understood clearly the precariousness of his position.

Patrols were needed as brigands and foul creatures still roamed freely into it, killing the unwary and creating an atmosphere of peril.

He hoped these issues could be solved quickly. The only way to accomplish any of it was with direct dialogue. Once more he planned a diplomatic trip to Blackmarsh.
