As February draws upon us, we celebrate Seven Years of Sanctus; seven years of the longest continually running Lightbringer Kingdom in the ARPC. During it’s long history, Sanctus has ebbed and flowed, swollen and withered, but always the guild has endured. It has served as friend, foe, mentor, example, trendsetter, as well as an object of envy, distrust, and downright hate. However, it’s greatest achievement has been never faltering in dedication to it’s own unique brand of lightbringer roleplay, and service to the Atlantic Roleplay Community.
Many of you who read this have once been a part of Sanctus, and for that we thank you. Sanctus is not just the Skyfires, but the myriad of roleplayers who have helped shaped it’s history, build its legend, and shared in both the good times and the bad.

Sanctus has cemented itself in the history of Ultima Online and the Atlantic Roleplay Community. I have had the distinct pleasure of leading this group from a group of Stormhaven outcasts to the proud town and guild that it is today.
Sanctus expresses it’s most sincere gratitude to those of you who have been a part of us, and to those of you who have roleplayed with us over the years. Each and every one of you have touched the guild in some way and led it to where it is today. There are times when UO becomes more than just a game, and Sanctus has been that for me and many of its members. Thanks to everyone for all of the fun over the years.

Please join us at Tavern night this week at Hanses’s Hostel as we celebrate Sanctus’s seventh birthday.

Seven years, hard to imagine how things would be without you guys. Sanctus is one of those roots that keep our community alive. Will be a great event I'm sure.

Wow. Seven years.

I remember the day that you guys placed the 18x18, woke up at 3 in the morning just so I had a chance to activate my AOS key and decided to jump on ICQ. I was bombarded with messages from Sanctus folks with screenies of the plot.

That's nuts, didn't realize it was seven years.

Seven years eh? Only been here five myself. Congrats to you guys, good job rolling with the punches!

I admire the way you guys have stuck with your guns for so long and have stayed your course. Here is to seven more years!

I recall my days in Sanctus, probably about four years ago... Amazing friends and family, great times, and fantastic fights. I was all about the duels and battles, but sadly stepped away from my computer to realize my dreams in the real world. I'm back now, though. I'd be more than happy to try and attend the festivities, assuming they run rather late! Working till midnight puts strains on my social time in Sosaria. Congratulations, old man ( even though you're younger than I am)!

I remember Sanctus from the days when even I was new. It feels like it has always been there and for that thank you. Now stay in game and keep up the hard work so I can pester you IC. Laughing

Actually, I also wanted to say (especially since the other thread got me thinking on it) many of us that moved over from Umbra to Stonegate remember fighting and enjoying our battles with Sanctus the most. We didnt always win(which makes it more fun) but you guys are a class act.

I give you guys props, they have been fun and drama free.

Congratulations OLD man. I called Sanctus home for almost 4 years of that 7. I still sit back with a jackandcoke. and remember the fun we had. Fighting was awsome , woman were.....oh nm....lol Anyways I enjoyed the time I was their and want to say thanks again old friend. Here's to 7 more years !
