Many long years have passed since Illadar was awake. His energies were weakening, forcing him to sleep. His essence slipped into the Abyss, leaving his body vulnerable at the bottom of the massive lake just west of Umbra.

A call to him echoes in the Abyss...a call that it was time.

Illadar needed to only think of the lake where he had left his body, and his essence faded from the Abyss and reformed at the bottom of the lake. His body completely gone, he was forced to raise to the surface as a wraith.

He was only thinking about one thing...returning to Charnell Hill. There, he will seek out brothers and sisters from long ago. And it will be there that a new body will be constructed for him....for he is a Death Knight.
