Dear Aless,

I feel as though you and I may have crossed paths in the past, but sadly we did not establish much of a friendship. However, I've heard tons about you. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Sarian. I was the apprentice to both Beowulf Thormear and Vaen Swiftar. Two men who spoke highly of you.

I find myself writting to you, with news that may interest you. First off, I'm sorry about your loss. The loss of all three men hurt me deeply, for I fought along side each of them at one time or another. I have noticed that you haven't returned to Dark Cove since your leave.

This is the main reason why I write you. I serve and reside the City of Blackmarsh now. The Mayor, Denzin Bracken, of Blackmarsh has done a fantastic job with the City and it's people. Shortly after being elected Mayor, he extended his hand to Dark Cove. Along with a small group of paladins and mages, they trapped the curse of the shadow wraiths. Together the group pressed the Dark Evil against the Keep of Tarothin Arumunn. They magically sealed a barrier around the Keep, trapping all of the evil inside it.

The City of Cove has never been safer. Blackmarsh has expanded itself and has grown into a magnificent Empire. We have extended ourselves all the way to Yew. We rid the City of King Sid, for his greedy hands were more concerned in having land than properly prospering it. Cal Hurst, ex Mayor of Moonglow and ex Mercenary, is now the Warlord of the City. Now our laws and protection find themselves there.

Britain is also apart of the Blackmarsh Empire. Orelen Reaucher is the Governor of the fair City. Gerard Vartan is the Warlord of Cove. A fine and respected man, well liked by the ladies. Blackmarsh has helped prosper and guide all of these Cities to a glorious life they haven't had the privledge of enjoying in years.

I hope that after reading this letter, you consider returning home. There is a place amongst us in Blackmarsh for a lady of your stature. It would mean the world to me to have someone who knew my friends, as well as I did, around to talk to.

Sincerely,

Sarian
Blackmarsh Warlord
