Greetings Your Magesty,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am contacting you about the case you brought against Kayla Ariesus a while back. I have not been contacted by Lord Flagg at all and have not heard the charges nor any legal documentation from him regarding names of witnesses or any verifiable evidence in the case. I do hope it has not gotten lost on your desk among your papers.

I have recieved an urgent message from my client that she is in fear for her life. I leave tonight to travel to Yew to find her and determine what this fear is all about. I was told she was on House Arrest and if that has changed without provocation and if she is indeed in any danger you and Mr. Flagg will answer to a higher authority.

Knowing she would be traveling, Thraxas sent his raven Harbinger to locate her and deliver the reply:

"Greetings Your Grace,

I had indeed given the order to take your cousin into custody. It was for her own safety. I had reports of death threats made against her and she was far too vulnerable to be left under mere house arrest. As it stands, my personal guards grow weary of their constant vigil and the prison guards and facility are in a state of constant readiness. Her treatment should not be an issue. If it is, and I learn that she has been dealt with harshly, there is no need for your justice... I will deal with any such behavior myself with ne'er a light hand, I assure you.

You are always welcome in Yew, but if you go to the prison, please check in with the Sheriff in his office. I will seek to meet you there if I can, but if not, you are in capable hands.

As for the trial, I look forward to it as I, too, wish to resolve this matter.
