Indeed I have no doubt with regard to that which I desire, nor cleave I to the slightest qualm in making it mine own. As I've learned from Hephaistion's tales of Alexander against King Darius in Persia, even the greatest of odds are not insurmountable. After all, have I not already made clear affirmation to my dearest love with such very discourse? What be vows beyond words married by duty? Spoken last night, this could not be more true . . . my heart yearns to steal sweet satisfaction. Temptation is more than a dangerous game.
