The new infusion ran like a river of blood thru the valley. What was once distorted in a confusing mist had been shown to be true and clear. No longer were the people of Stonegate mired by uncertainty over the confusion in the world that abounded around them.
Gracefully, they entered a new phase, as the Stones essence gave back to them what they had all so freely given unto it. Let it be known clearly that it was dependent on them, on thier strength that it lived and thrived and enlarged what they already were to even more. Clarity and Focus, well needed for the mind of a warrior.
What was upon them was essentially a growth period, they were rising above and beyond the normal worries. Things that had been so grossly significant before had become just mere distractions, thier struggle and demand for the Wolf King and his people to spend precious moments diverted by it was now at a stop. The diversions ended they moved forward with meaning and purpose, driven. That was their lot as Warriors of Fate.
So the Oracle, with wide blue eyes filled with energies sometimes unknown to even her, often dreamed now, sometimes peacefully sometimes violently. She had tried to put this side of her away. Wanting only to see battle, to feel the wind on her skin, smell acrid smoke and the death of battle. She had wanted none of these otherworldly views. Yet she had no choice, from the moment she had walked thru the gate, returned to her friends it was decided. She would submit to it. With reluctance she had come to accept her part in things, knowing that they were better for it.
She had come to long for the more violent visions her mind reeling with a lust and death. She could feel the sweet ache in them, the drive to conquer anything in order to have what she wanted. Her connections with others being felt so deeply when she dreamed. She often wondered if her dreams were a dangerous place, a source of vulnerability , her visions leaving her at times... lost and distracted.
So she welcomed Clarity and Focus. It was the way of a Stonegate Warrior, for the mental machinations were perhaps more important than the physical ones. _________________ May destiny guide you... |

Like all great quests, it started with prophecy..
There was no new vision, no new words of encouragement..
But it was simply time, and the Guardians of the Stone knew it.
They started their search in Malas, though in truth it wasn't a saerch.
It was easy to find what they sought, but the Wolf King knew this was the easy part.
As Myrddin walked beside his soldiers in the wilds of illshenaar, it was almost symbolic that like a great marker a large stone rose into the air, his purpose was known and he knew the way.
When they returned to Stonegate, they stood before the monumental relic that defined their name.
In twos they gave to the stone what it did not have before, and a change took place..
As Merci spoke every Guardian felt it, this was the first of many changes.
Blood trickled down the stone as strength coursed through their veins.
Bigger goals loomed on the horizen...
And the Guardians were ready to march. _________________ "You see I can not be forsaken, because I'm not the only one. We walk amongst you, beating, r#ping, must we hide from everyone?" - Jon Davis |
