Pacing in his study he thinks back to the assassination on Ditto.

Where is Spawn...I have not had word from him since we've talked. He was supposed to be hunting down the assassin. Is there a trail? did he even continue to look? What about Beldon and his investigation...

There still has to be something more. There is always a reason why someone hires an assassin. It really matter's not on finding the assassin more so then it is to find the reason behind it. I want that reason. Assumptions based on loose information is just still assumptions.

Has the trail become to cold to even find out? It has been days since it happened. And nothing, except the assumption based on way too suspicious clues that someone was trying to frame Martin and get us at each other's neck.

He sat down at his desk to write yet another letter.

Spawn,

It has been many days since we spoke on the subject of Ditto's assassination. Have you found a trail? Have you even been trying to do as you said? At this point I feel that all that could have been gathered is lost. And that we will never know who or why they did what they did. I will leave it in your best judgement to continue your search. Any more pieces to the puzzle would be most welcome in seeing the reasoning behind the attack. Please get back to me on the status of the case.

Spawn sat in his office in Blackgard doing some work and reading over reports. Suddenly, a messenger entered the office, saluted the Sheriff and handed him the letter. As the messenger left his office, Spawn opened the letter and began to read it. After a few moments, He took a blank piece of parchment and a pen with ink then began to write on the parchment.

I must apologize for not getting back to you on the investingation. There have been incidents taking place in Sanctus that had to be dealt with. But I have been continuing the investingation on the attack on Ditto. You will be pleased to know that I may have found a trail that could uncover some more answers on Ditto's attack. During the next few days, I will be searching for the persons we discussed who could be involved. When I have more information, I will contact Beldon or yourself immediately. Thank you for your time and Good Day.
