The Teahouse was quiet, the last guests finally leaving and strangely, oddly Bishimi sat alone. Or maybe it wasnt so odd. He just didnt want to go home to the chaos. It seemed every day, wolves were coming and going, children were crying, the snake never let him out of her sight. Yet tonight he had escaped....

If ever there was a test of his powers of dissapearing, of any ninjas ability to blend into shadows, it was that of a Father escaping the chaos of three babes and a tired, frustrated Lycan wife. He was not leaving here if his life depended on it. He downed more sake, letting the strong drugging liquid to tug him into a relaxed meditative state. He should make this a new test for Oshiego. He found pleasure in imagining his men trying to escape the situation he had just left and he chuckled to himself.

Your smiling, thats good.. the voice calm and cool, the familiar blue hair hanging about her shoulders.

He looked up, damn that Lycan hearing of hers... She smiled.

You get a head start my dear...

Kind of you Merci-Chan....

He noticed the nails on her hand were slightly elongated. This wasnt good, her fury just below the surface. She had looked pretty frazzled when he left her, perhaps it had not been the best of ideas.. but then the sweet taste of freedom was worth it.

Your going to need it. Her eyes narrowed.

The shadows wavered and he was gone, invisible to her eyes but not hidden to her damn nose and he knew she was after him. He heard a chair crash behind him as he raced up the stairs. Another chair crashed as he leapt over a bench. She was coming on fast, and faster.

It was in that instant that he realized how to deal with this. Another floor and another chair crashing.. finally he reached his office, indeed he had lured her here, though she didnt know it. He appeared, the mists swirling around him to reveal him to her eyes.

Done running Soke? She breathed out angrily. She overturned another chair as she walked towards him. Nothing could stop her except....

Her hand raised, kryss in it, and he grasped her wrist yanking the furious woman close. Consider Merci.. we are here alone.. with no children, your passing up opportunity.

Her expression changed. How quickly anger turns to other things...

(**Dedicated to Bishimi on his birthday!)
